I don't know about the rest of you but I quite often wonder why some people have the names they do for their toons.. I thought this might be a good spot for us to tell the rest of the guild a little bit about how we came up with the names we have..

I'll just list the toons I actually have a reason for naming the way i did:

Josima - I took the first 2 letters of my wife's name, my daughter's name and my name.. By far, this is my favourite name I've chosen..
Wristy - "Wristy" was a joke word used a lot with friends "only way I'm gonna get a pay rise is give the boss a quick wristy", was actually made just for laughs but once Jos started getting higher I wanted to play another toon to pass the time while i banked my rested XP.
Meemo  - This is what happens when you listen to a 2year old & decide to name a toon after her favourite clown fish..
Snocones - my lil frost mage.. I decided when I made her she was going to be frost & if u've ever seen a human female toon you'll understand why the word "cones" stood out (literally :P )
Cooperzale - my Retardadin.. Named after my favourite brewing company/beer Coopers Ale mmmmm, beer *drool*

Other toons dont really have much of a story behind them so I'm not going to bother..

Anywho, enough about me, let's see what stories are behind everyone else's names :)

Okay so....

Wolframus (85 Warrior) is a long story, let's just say it's an inside joke amongst my IRL friends about WoW, I thought it sounded pretty cool so i went with Wolfram. But it was taken, so I decided to crank up the "medieval factor" and Wolframus was born.

Bearam (74 Druid)same thing, Wolfram was taken so I thought "hey, im a feral druid, so..." Bearram looked wierd with two Rs so I went with Bearam.

Troggdor (18 mage) is my fire mage. It's a reference to Trog Dor the Burninator from the Strongbad cartoons. "Trogg" is a minor WoW reference I guess.

Itankuspank (26 Tankadin) is my pally tank, rolled him to see what it was like to tank as a paladin. Name is kinda self-explanatory I guess.

Well Flippancy was a spinoff of one of my horde toons that i rolled on a whim called Whimsey. I rolled her to have a look at priests and wasnt really serious about her.

in other guilds:
My original main Blayney, a dwarf hunter I rolled as i soloed a lot and with a pet to help seemed a good idea, Named after a friend whom I feel is inspirational

I then rolled my DK and called it Mortgage for 2 reasons, 1) it was always just going to be a farming toon to mae some cash, and 2) mortgage in french means deathgrip so is sort of apt.

I rolled my current main Hapenny the Druid(feral tank atm) as druids were so OP for a while, named so as i already had a bank toon called shilling (to follow the money line with mortgage)

i also have Bahzinga on horde side a rogue.
and most recently ( apart from Flipp), my worgen, the name just sat right... Rippington

I do have a number of bank toons, in various guilds Blay's shed rental, Blaybank and Achievement's Ltd

Hi, my toons name is Emeralderuby...im a NE Priest, 85. I try to be healful and am trying to become a successful raid healer in the future. I dont PvP much, but i love dungeons and hope to start raiding soon. Ty  =)
