ok, im not far away from hitting 80 & being able to do heroics but are they really that bad...? i've heard some of the conversations on vent when ppl are in a heroic & it doesn't sound like much fun at all..

So far they have been pretty brutal for me. Hoping some better gear will change it up.

Very brutal. You *do* want to pay attention to gear, making sure you have a lot of regular 78-80 instance stuff and are pretty much blue'd out. Voice chat helps a lot, but every minor mistake can lead to a wipe. I'm sure once we run them more and become more comfortable with the instances and our gear as a guild progresses, we'll do better, as always.
