I'm not sure what the hit cap will be in wrath, so there will be more added later, and probably randomly from here on out.

Talent builds vary for combat spec depending on what weapons you use, but the one the one thing to remember is its usually better to have the same type of weapons in both hands.

Hit, you want lots period, the hit cap in BC was 363, in wrath i'm pretty sure it will be more. Then you want lots of agility, crit, haste, expertise, and armor penetration. Expertise if your a human the BC cap for humans is 44, everyone else is 64(i believe this has changed a bit since the patches recently).

Damage cycle

if you can you want to start with a garrote.
then from here on out you want SnD up all the time.
then 5 point rupture, then you'll throw in a 5 pnt evicerate, if you dont have 5 CP by the time you hit 12 sec's left on SnD just use what you have for evicerate, then work up for a 5 cp SnD again .  when the boss gets to 10% usually its best to start eviscerating instead of rupture(use your best judgement on this one). the bosses usually dont stay alive long enough after that for rupture to do its full damage. Rogues are a CD class. when ever your CD's are up, use them, at the start of fight. Tricks of the trade is your friend, use it.

Combat Talent builds, the simplest way to do this, is go to http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Khaz+Modan&n=Minnotauro and copy his, weapons varying.

Thats pretty much it, i hope this has been helpful, if you have any questions feel free to ask. I'm pretty sure me or Minno will be more than happy to as long as were not in the middle of a fight or something..

I'm sure i will add to this later

Expertise cap is 25 for most things, 26 for one or two fights though

I don't mean to intrude, but I must =p. Some people get confused about expertise cap and hit cap, especially C-Rogues. You will see a lot of rogues at 26 or more expertise when they 2/2 Wep Expertise, which isn't good. You only need 16 expertise. This gives you more room to play with regarding gear (which is a good thing). In sum, C-Rogues with 26 expertise who have 2/2 in wep expeertise is bad =(. IMO, I would rather be slightly under or balanced then to be over.

Enjoy!

Hit and Expertise Caps

Hit/Expertise stat weightings shift at certain caps. For a rough outline as to how
much hit/expertise rating is worth, use the EP weights as posted above. Otherwise,
use the spreadsheets provided for a more accurate result.

Expertise Rating

Boss dodge chance is thought to be between 6.25% and 6.5%.

For 6.5% boss dodge chance (26/26 expertise):

26 expertise (214 expertise rating) to cap.
16 expertise (132 expertise rating) to cap for rogues with 2/2 Weapon Expertise.
13 expertise (107 expertise rating) to cap for combat human rogues wielding a sword/mace.

I'm sorry, but you misread the thing on elitest jerks.  You only need 16 more expertise, you still need 26 total.  When you spec into combat you'll have 10 expertise even with no gear on, so that still means you need to get 16 more for a total of 26.
