Came across this cool pet macro which randomly summons a pet without needing to open your Pet menue.

There's also a very cool addon called Critters that not only will do random pets, but it will do it automatically without you having to click anything. I still haven't figured out how it works, but it has managed to keep a pet up for me pretty much all the time.
